At Robinsons we believe that to be a great company, we must have a positive effect on our community and the wider world around us.
We recognise the responsibility we have for our employees, their families and all of our partners and customers. Our employees are very highly regarded and we believe that their continued development and wellbeing within our company is paramount to all of our success. We actively engage with our local community and regularly work with local charities and local projects to ensure our communities can thrive.
During times of crisis, such as the COVID-19 outbreak, we have worked hard to stock a supply of fresh fruit and veg for our local communities, delivering to the doorsteps of those most vulnerable.
We have partnered with Cash for Kids for a number of years and are working closely with local schools and colleges to inspire the next generation.
We have also just begun working with the Prince’s Trust and are in the process of opening up more apprenticeship opportunities within the team than ever before.
We strive to ensure that we can work with our teams to give back to the areas that help our business thrive.
At Christmas time in 2020, we donated three carloads of essentials to foodbanks serving Cheshire, Ayrshire and Dumfries & Galloway, became a drop-off and collection zone for Cash
For Kids gifting campaign, donated Christmas trees to local primary schools (who in turn decorated these and delivered them to local care homes!) and we donated supplies to local nurseries and parks to encourage those In the community to keep active and get outside.
As part of our future plans, we aim to do more work with our staff and the local community and cultivate our positive impact. Below is just a snippet of what we have been up to when it comes to supporting those in our local communities.
